Arnar Eidskrem currently holds the position as the Country Multichannel Operations Manager at IKEA México where he oversees the digital and ecommerce establishment of IKEA in the Mexican market. Arnar has more than 13 years at IKEA, and prior to joining the IKEA organization in México, he spent five years in China and Japan where he supported the business transformation of IKEA into an omnichannel retailer in Asia. Arnar is an alumnus from the University of Texas at Austin, and has eight years as an entrepreneur in the digital and ecommerce industry in Houston, Texas. He will take on the responsibility to bring the IKEA brand and Scandinavian design to the many Poblanos as IKEA continues its expansion in Mexico by opening a new store in the city of Puebla next year. Arnar is a Norwegian citizen and lives in Mexico City with his wife and two children.
